Chicago Alumni, Bigelows, and Public Law Fellows on the Teaching Market, 2014-15

MOVING TO THE FRONT FOR LAST TIME THIS HIRING SEASON (ORIGINALLY POSTED AUGUST 20)--THANKS TO ALL THE DEANS, HIRING CHAIRS, AND APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE MEMBERS WHO HAVE CONTACTED ME ALREADY!

We have candidates this year in a multitude of areas:  tax, estates and trusts, corporations, banking law, criminal law and procedure, civil procedure, arbitration, international business transactions, legislation, administrative law, constitutional law, civil rights, energy law, antidiscrimination law, jurisprudence, insurance law, election law, torts, bankruptcy, commercial law, contracts, securities regulation, financial regulation, federal courts, national security law, corporate finance, privacy law, evidence, comparative law, law & society, conflicts, ADR, and intellectual property.

Our candidates include former Supreme Court clerks, numerous past editors of the Law Review, numerous former Circuit Court clerks, JD/PhDs in Political Science, Linguistics, Anthropology, Business, and History, VAPs and Fellows at other leading law schools, and many experienced practitioners (some with more than six years of experience and scholarly publications).  Several will also help meet diversity objectives in hiring.  All have publications and writing samples.
