Relatively few American law faculty have been elected as Corresponding Fellows to the British Academy; they include Judge Calabresi, still a lecturer at Yale; Ronald Coase (emeritus), R.H. Helmholz, Martha Nussbaum, and Judge Posner (who is also a senior lecturer) at Chicago; Sanford Kadish (emeritus) at Berkeley; Thomas Nagel at NYU; and James Gordley at Tulane.
