Another Critical Take on Reorganizing Higher Education in New Jersey

We've covered this issue here and here.  Now the Chronicle of Higher Education weighs in on the proposed Rutgers-Camden/Rowan merger, and the other related changes, with an article, Proposed Realigning of New Jersey Campuses Spurs Protests and Charges of Cronyism, here.

One of the more interesting punch lines from New Jersey State Senator Raymond Lesniak:  "[Proponents of the state's reorganization of higher education] ignored the elephant in the room, and that is, this can't be done without a billion-dollar bond issue for higher education in the state."
