Administrative Transitions at Brooklyn Law

In an effort to create a more university-like administrative design, Brooklyn Law School has disaggregated the positions of President and Dean.  Joan Wexler, who had been both, will now be President.  And the law school has named Professor Michael Gerber as its Interim Dean.  I assume that this will be a highly desired position, since Brooklyn Law has first rate students and faculty, and a superb location.  Given Brooklyn's particular organizational structure, this might be an ideal post for a super-powered academic lacking administrative experience.
