Reputation Scores in 2008 US News Surveys (from fall 2007)

Based on the copies of the US News rankings that have been circulating in Cyberspace for a couple of days (thanks to the many readers who sent me copies), here are the results of the reputational surveys conducted by U.S. News early last fall.  Every year there tend to be some inexplicable fluctuations in scores (.1 in either direction), and this year was no different, but, overall, relative stability in the top 30 was the most noticeable feature of the academic reputation results (a bit less so with the lawyer/judge reputation results, but the response rate is much lower to that survey--a mere 26% responded, compared to 70% of the academics).
