Two Lateral Hires by Fordham

Fordham Law School has made two tenured, lateral appointments:  Grainne de Burca (European Union Law) from the European University Institute in Florence, and  Sean Griffith (corporate) from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  In recent years, Professor de Burca has been a visiting professor at Columbia, Michigan, and Toronto, while Professor Griffith visited at Penn during 2004-05.

Miller from Emory to Arizona

Marc Miller (criminal law and procedure) at Emory Law School has accepted a senior offer from the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law, where he is visiting this year.  This caps a big year for the relatively small Arizona faculty, which also added at the senior level Carol Rose (environmental law, property) from Yale Law School.

Shaffer from Wisconsin to Loyola-Chicago

Gregory Shaffer (international law), currently Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, has accepted appointment as the first holder of the Wing-Tat Lee Chair in International Law at Loyola University-Chicago School of Law.
