Robert Scott (contracts, commercial law), the former Dean at the University of Virginia School of Law, and Elizabeth Scott (family law, juvenile justice, property) have accepted permanent, senior offers from Columbia Law School, where they have been visiting part-time the past several years. That's a major appointment for Columbia, and a real loss for UVA.
