Roderick Hills, Jr. (constitutional law, local government law, education law) at the University of Michigan Law School has accepted the tenured offer from New York University School of Law. That's certainly a strong hire for NYU, and a loss for Michigan--though Michigan is otherwise having a great year of its own in lateral hiring (Radin, Laycock, Litman), as noted in previous postings.
